Dne 18.4. bylo uzavřeno Memorandum o spolupráci mezi Asociací českých kameramanů a Asociací filmových střihačů a střihaček. Memorandum podepsali předsedové obou asociací prof. Marek Jícha a MgA. Šimon Špidla.
Asociace se shodly na společném úsilí o zvyšování umělecké a řemeslné kvality svých profesí a vzájemné budoucí spolupráci. A.F.S. v memorandu podpořila činnost AČK v oblasti digitálního restaurování filmů a připojila se k Memorandu světové kameramanské asociace IMAGO, požadující standardy digitálního restaurování. Cílem IMAGO a AČK je zajistit nejvyšší možnou kvalitu restaurovaných filmů, zachovat filmy v autory zamýšlené, původní podobě (obrazový formát, jasové a barevné podání atd.) a žádají spolupráci autorů filmů s filmovými restaurátory. Vedení A.F.S. jednoznačně podpořilo snahu IMAGO a AČK zachovat umělecká díla (filmy) v nejvyšší možné a autory schválené podobě a kvalitě pro další generace filmových diváků i vědců.
